Yoga Nidra, a meditation-based relaxation technique, uses a systematic method of including complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Through the practice you will release tension, relax the mind, and reduce stress as you experience a restful "Yogic Sleep". The result of the this practice prepares the mind and body to meet the demands and responsibilities of daily life. Yoga Nidra provides the internal wisdom to cope and heal from stress- an important step in the journey of becoming the best possible you. Managing anxiety and stress is becoming a crucial component of preventive care. It is also the first step in living a happier and healthier life. This form of yoga is practiced completely laying down in comfort and stillness. Participants are guided through structured and conscious movement through sleep states where the mind has no access. In this state the whole being is cleansed and restored. Dress comfortable and warm, bringing a pillow and blanket for extra comfort. This practice is intended for all- no prior yoga experience required.
