Students will follow an easy-to-learn form of yoga that incorporates yoga postures to stretch and strengthen the body; breathing-techniques that help relax and regulate mind and body; and meditation practices that help ease anxiety and foster mental clarity. The intention of the class is to restore and balance physical and emotional health through a trauma-informed practice that ultimately creates a more positive relationship to the stress of school, social encounters, and daily life. No prior yoga experience required.
